(9/10/12) Hugh "TT" G. Prescott, age 70, of Black River Falls, WI. found peace in his home on Sunday, Sept. 9, 2012 after a long battle with various illnesses.
He was born on May 20, 1942 in Black River Falls to Hugh and Elsie (Stanton) Prescott, Sr. He was raised in Black River Falls and attended school there. He joined the Army at age 17 and served as a medic.
" TT " attended Western Wisconsin Technical Institute in LaCrosse.
He was employed at the Jackson Box Company, the Jackson County Iron Corporation, as a CNA at the Tomah Veteran's Hospital, and in the maintenance department at the former John's IGA.
Hugh loved to play guitar and listen to music. He was a story teller and jokestar. He had a love for classic cars and trucks. He enjoyed tinkering with small appliances, TV repair, riding his motorcycle, going on road trips, watching old movies, and watching the Green Bay Packers. He loved the simple things in life, and will be remembered for his stubborn, sarcastic ways.
Surviving are one daughter, Alice (Jeffrey) Luther, Black River Falls, 2-brothers, Terry Prescott, Sparta, WI., Michael Prescott, Black River Falls, 3-sisters, Sandra (Leslie) Pettibone, Portage, WI., Cheryl (Gary) Berger, Melrose, WI. and Hope (Robert) Chamberlain, Black River Falls, 1-granddaughter, Billie Harwick, 1-grandson, Dustin Harwick, and 1-step grandson, Jeffrey Luther, Jr.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hugh and Elsie Prescott Sr., 2-sons, Craig Prescott and James Prescott, and a granddaughter, Casandra Harwick.
Memorial funeral services for Hugh "TT" G. Prescott will be at 11 A.M. Thursday, Sept. 13, 2012 at the Buswell Funeral Home (715-284-2231) 106 So. 2nd St. Black River Falls. Services will be conducted by Myron Olson, and burial with military honors will be in the Sullivan Cemetery in the Town of Brockway. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 10 A.M. until the time of services.
