Kerry "Gus" Beaman

(12/27/13) Kerry "Gus" Beaman, 59, of Denmark, formerly of Taylor, passed away on Thursday, December 26, 2013 at the Jack and Engrid Meng Residence of the Campus of Unity Hospice.

Kerry was born on April 25, 1954 to Donald and Phyllis Beaman in Dextor, Iowa. The family moved to Taylor, WI where he spent his childhood. Kerry joined the Navy in 1972 and served on Nuclear Submarines until his honorable discharge in 1980. He then worked at the Kewaunee Nuclear Plant for 25 years. He received his Bachelors Degree from the University of Maryland in 1989. He was a member of the V.F.W. and the American Legion Posts in Denmark.

He is survived by 2 sons and daughters-in-law Tim and Sarah Beaman; Matt and Haley Beaman, 3 grandchildren Carly, Braelyn and Lucas, his mother Phyllis, 3 brothers and sisters-in-law Pat (Diane) Beaman, Kevin (Lorrie) Beaman, and Brian (Julie) Beaman, 1 sister and brother-in-law Mary (Bill) Risch. He is further survived by nieces, nephews other relatives and friends and his former wife Joanne.

He was preceded in death by his father and brother Jim.

There will be a celebration of life gathering in the summer at his pond where he loved to fish, hunt and visit with whomever stopped by.

The family would like to thank the staff at Unity Hospice for the care given these last 2 months.
