 (3/23/14) Helen I. Arentz, formerly Helen I. (Stevens) Anderson, age 80, of Sparta, WI, and formerly of Taylor, WI. died Saturday, March 22, 2014 in the Pine View Care Center in Black River Falls, WI.

Helen was born on April 23, 1933 in Jackson County to Clifford and Evelyn (Aufenthia) Stevens.

She attended school in Hixton and graduated from the Taylor High School.

Helen married Arvin Anderson on November 23, 1952. He preceded his wife in death. Following his death, she married Leonard Arentz and he preceded his wife in death.

She resided in Taylor, WI, Iowa, Arkansas, Florida, Texas, Viroqua, WI, and Sparta.

Helen worked at the former Norplex Plant and Dadco Pizza Plant both in Black River Falls, and she assembled automobile parts at the LCI Plant in Galesville and the TRW Plant in Ettrick.

Her hobbies and special interests included collecting porcelain dolls, crocheting, putting puzzles together, going fishing and camping.

Surviving are 2-sons, Marvin Anderson, San Antonio, TX., and Robert (June) Anderson, Taylor, WI, 1-daughter, Susan (Charles) Stone, Sparta, WI., 1-brother, William (Monica) Stevens, Turtle Lake, WI, 8-grandchildren, 10-great grandchildren, and 1-great, great grandchild.

In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by her parents, 1-son, Alvin, 1-brother, Clayton, and 1-granddaughter, Meghan.

Graveside memorial funeral services will be at 10:30 A.M. Saturday, March 29, 2014 at the Trempealeau Valley Lutheran Church Cemetery, rural Taylor, WI. Services will be conducted by

Pastor Benjamin Ahles-Iverson. There will be no visitation.

Jensen-Modjeski Funeral Home (715-963-2311) of Hixton is assisting the family with arrangements.
