Rojean K. McNulty

    (4/24/14)  RoJean K. McNulty, age 91, of Black River Falls, WI died Wednesday, April 23, 2014 in the Family Heritage Care Center in Black River Falls, WI.

    RoJean was born in Merrillan, WI on March 24, 1923 to Harold and Stella (Hoveland) Olson.  She attended schools in Merrillan and Alma Center. 

    She married Donald McNulty in Black River Falls, WI on April 15, 1944.  The couple lived in Milwaukee

for thirty years, where RoJean worked for 23 years for Johnson Controls.  The couple moved back to Black River Falls and farmed in the Kenyon Valley Area of the Town of Adams, Jackson County.

    RoJean worked at the Pine View Care Center for 12-years.  She did volunteer work for 10-years.  She was a member of the Miles-Hagen American Legion Post Auxillary # 200 for 20-years.

   Surviving are her son, Dennis (Mary) McNulty, Oak Creek, WI, her daughter, Barbara Schultz, Black River Falls, two brothers, John Olson, South Carolina, and Gaylord Olson, California, one sister, Gloria Knoll, Black River Falls, 5-grandchildren, Thomas (Kerrie) McNulty, Kari-Rae (David) Hartl, Deborah (Mark) Forsting, Katherine Schultz, and Peggy (Bruce) Holmgreen, 6-great grandchildren, Kourtney Hartl, Jessica Forsting, Dusty Hartl, Jaclyn McNulty, Joe Forsting, and Hunter McNulty.

     She was preceded in death by her son-in-law, George Schultz, 2-sisters, LaVern Olver and Fern Meyer,

4-brothers, Glen Olson, Larry Olson, Robert Olson, and James Olson.

    A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 A.M. Monday, April 28, 2014 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Black River Falls.  Rev. Emmanuel Famiyeh will conduct services and burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Black River Falls. Relatives and friends may call at the church on Monday from 9:30 A.M. until the time of services.

     Memorials may be given to Jackson County Interfaith Caregivers.

     Torgerson's Funeral Home (715-284-4321) of Black River Falls is assisting the family with arrangements.
