(10/29/12)  Myrtle E. Mills, 84, of Black River Falls, WI passed away Sunday, October 28, 2012, at Country Terrace of Black River Falls. A private graveside service will be held at Shamrock Union Cemetery, Town of Manchester, rural Black River Falls.  Buswell Funeral Home of Black River Falls is assisting the family with arrangements.

(10/25/12) Herman A. Lohneis, 89, of Tomah, died Thursday, October 25, 2012 at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Tomah. 

Funeral services for Lucy Haralson, 90 year old Buffalo, Wyoming and former Black River Falls, Wisconsin woman who passed away Sunday at the Amie Holt Care Center in Buffalo, will be held Tuesday, October 30^th at 3:00 p.m. from the Torgerson Funeral Chapel in Black River Falls, Wisconsin with Pastor Kent Haralson officiating. Visitation will be held on the day of the funeral from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. A private family interment in the Riverside Cemetery will follow the funeral. Donations in Mrs. Haralson’s memory may be made to the Jackson County Library or the Black River Falls Memorial Hospital Ladies Auxiliary in care of the Torgerson Funeral home at 408 Water Street in Black River Falls, Wisconsin 54615. Local arrangements have been entrusted to the Adams Funeral Home in Buffalo.

(10-23-12)  Laverne I. (Mrs. Eugene) Bartos, age 83, of Black River Falls, Wi. died Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2012 in the home of her caregiver.  Graveside funeral services will be at 11 A.M. Saturday, October 27, 2012 at the Komensky National Cemetery on Cemetery Road in the Town of Komensky, Jackson County. Robert D. Chamberlain, 55, of Black River Falls, WI passed away Monday, October 22, 2012 at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center, La Crosse, WI.
