(2/28/12) Richard “Dick” L. Piette, 87, of Black River Falls, died Friday, Feb. 24, 2012, at the University of Alabama-Birmington Hospital. Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Black River Falls. Burial with military honors will be in Riverside Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday and from 9:30 a.m. to services Thursday at the church. Torgerson’s Funeral Home, Black River Falls, is assisting the family.

(2-27-12) Rita Ann (La Sarge) June, 81, of Marshfield, formerly of Alma Center, was called to her heavenly home on Sunday, February 26, 2012, at the Marshfield Care Center under Ministry Home Hospice Care.  Funeral Services will be held Saturday, March 3, 2012, 11:00 a.m., at the United Methodist Church in Alma Center, Wisconsin. The Officiate will be Reverend Greg Mandigo. Burial will follow in the East Lawn Cemetery, Alma Center, Wisconsin. Family and friends are invited for visitation Saturday, March 3, 2012, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the church. Pall bearers will be Adam June, Robert June, Scott June, Wade June, Ryan June and Troy Klomsten.  Memorials may be given in Rita's name to the Marshfield Care Center LLC or the Ministry Hospice Home Care of Marshfield.
