Here are the stories:

The Ohio State Buckeyes scored on a
short run in overtime to edge the Wisconsin Badgers 21-14 Saturday.  The win
gives Ohio State the Leaders Division championship, but Wisconsin will be making
the trip to the Big Ten Championship game.  The Buckeyes are ineligible, despite
their undefeated 7-0 conference record in an 11-0 season.  Montee Ball tied a
major college touchdown record with a seven-yard scoring run in the second
period.  He almost became the all-time TD leader with 2:46 left in the game, but
he had the ball batted away from him.  The Badger defense held tough and
third-string quarterback Curt Phillips led his team to a tying score on a
five-yard touchdown pass with eight seconds left.  Then, in overtime, Buckeye
running back Carlos Hyde found the end zone from the two to give the number-six
ranked visitors the win.  Ball will have three games left to break the touchdown
record.  He carried the ball 39 times yesterday for 191 yards.

Monta Ellis closed strong, scoring
six points in the final two minutes to lead Milwaukee to a 117-113 win over New
Orleans last night.  Ellis and Brandon Jennings both scored 22 points for
Milwaukee.  At six wins and two losses, the Bucks are off to their best start in
11 seasons.  The top pick in this year's NBA draft, Anthony Davis, scored 28
points and grabbed 11 rebounds.  Ryan Anderson added 20.  Consecutive
three-point plays by Davis cut the Milwaukee lead to two, 110-108, with two
minutes left.  A fall-away jumper from 20 feet by Ellis doubled the lead.
Seconds later he matched another Hornet score and two free throws by Jennings
iced the win with 12 seconds to go.  Milwaukee scored at least 60 points in the
first half for the third straight game.

A three-pointer with two seconds
showing on the clock gave Nevada a 71-69 victory over the University of
Wisconsin-Green Bay at the World Vision Classic in Reno last night.  Alec Brown
had connected on a three-pointer to give the Phoenix a late-game lead, just
before the winner by Deonte Burton.  Burton led the Wolf Pack with 19 points.
The Phoenix absorbed their first loss in three games despite having four
players score in double figures.  Brennan Cougill and Kam Cerroni led Green Bay
with 16 points apiece.

-11/18-

Jordan Aaron led all scorers with 23
points, but it was seven points by Kyle Kelm in the final two and a half minutes
which led the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee to a 73-68 win over Davidson.
Milwaukee was down by a point at halftime, then the teams traded buckets most
of the second half.  Kelm's three-point shot gave the Panthers a 63-62 lead with
2:32 remaining.  Milwaukee did a lot of its damage from the free throw line
where they connected on 24-of-32 shots.

-11/18-

A 3-1 victory at Value City Arena in
Columbus yesterday gave Ohio State a split with its weekend series against the
Wisconsin women's hockey team.  Ohio State's defense kept the visiting Badgers
from getting many close shots.  The only Wisconsin score came at 16:45 in the
third period when Alev Kelter knocked it home.  The Buckeyes had built a 3-0
lead before Kelter's goal.  Alex Rigsby made 30 saves for the Badgers.  Ohio
State was outshot by Wisconsin 34-33.

The Green Bay Packers go for their
fifth win in a row on the road at Detroit today.  The game kicks off at 12 noon
Central time at Ford Field, the home of the Lions. Green Bay has won 11 of 12
starts against Detroit under current head coach Mike McCarthy.  The Packers are
in second place in the NFC Central Division, trailing Chicago by a single game
in the standings at 6-3.  Detroit is 4-5.  Though Detroit plays five of its
final seven games on its home turf, the Packers are the first of several tough
opponents the Lions will face.  The Lions lead the NFL with 307 passing yards
per game.

-11/18-

Reagan Smith won the race, but Ricky
Stenhouse Junior clinched the Nationwide Series championship in yesterday's Ford
EcoBoost 300 at Homestead-Miami Speedway.  Smith hadn't run in a Nationwide
Series race since 2007.  A fast car made the return a little easier.
Beloit-born Danica Patrick finished 13th Saturday, keeping her at 10th in the
final driver standings.

-11/18-

Two Minnesota scores in the third
period gave the Gophers a 3-1 victory over the Wisconsin men's hockey team
Saturday night.  The Badger record fell to 1-5-2, including 1-3-2 in the WCHA.
Wisconsin scored first at 16:24 in the first period on a goal by Ryan Little.
The Badgers were 5-for-5 on the penalty kill and Little's score was a
short-handed goal.  Minnesota tied the scored midway through the second period,
then put it away with two scores in the final period.  Joel Rumple stopped 25 of
27 shots on goal.  The final Gopher tally came on an empty net.
