Here are the stories:

It's Super Bowl Sunday, and while only one
team can win the coveted title of "World Champion"... Wisconsin football picks up
a win regardless. Both the Seattle Seahawks and Denver Broncos have several
former Badgers on each roster. Seattle quarterback Russell Wilson leads the
Seahawks to the Super Bowl in his second season in the N-F-L... while his former
teammate, running back Monte Ball, is having a stellar rookie season with the
Broncos. Other former Badgers to keep an eye on includes linebacker O'Brien
Schofield and safety Chris Maragos.

-----

The Green Bay Packers picked up a couple of
season awards last night. Running back Eddie Lacy was named the 2013 Offensive
Rookie of the Year. The former second-round draft pick from Alabama rushed for
over 11-hundred yards and 11 touchdowns in his first N-F-L season. Quarterback
Aaron Rodgers won the G-M-C "Never Say Never Moment of the Year" award for his
game-winning touchdown pass against the Chicago Bears to win the N-F-C North
title. During his acceptance speech, Rodgers thanked wide receiver Randall Cobb
for "running the wrong route".

-----

For the first time in Buzz William's six
seasons at Marquette, the Golden Eagles may be missing the Big Dance. Derrick
Wilson scored 14 points in a 74-29 blowout loss to St. John's. Marquette shot
only 34-percent from the field and was 3-of-14 from the three-point arc. The
loss puts the Golden Eagles in a very tough spot for tournament contention,
falling to 4-5 in conference play.

-----

Freshman Nigel Hayes scored 17 points off
the bench, but it wasn't enough to knock off 24th-ranked Ohio State.
The Badgers dropped their third-straight game at home, losing to the Buckeyes by
a final of 59-58. Sophomore Sam Dekker had one final shot to win the game, but
was short of sinking the buzzer-beating three. The Badgers have now dropped five
of their last six contest since a school-record 16-0
start.
