Here are the stories:

The Oklahoma City Thunder have signed former Milwaukee Bucks forward Caron Butler. Rumors of a possible signing started on Thursday, but the Thunder made it official yesterday after Butler cleared waivers. The 33-year-old Butler played in 34 games for the Bucks this season, averaging 11 points and four-point-six rebounds a game.

The Wisconsin Badgers have won another Big Ten men's indoor track championship over the weekend. Several Badgers, including Japheth Cato in the heptathlon and Mohammed Ahmed in the 5-thousand meters, clinched another team title with wins in their events. Junior Michael Lihrman, the top-ranked weight thrower in the world, also won in his event. The Badgers were able to hold off Nebraska for the title in the four-by-400 relay, taking fifth in the event.

-----

Green Bay Packers cornerback Sam Shields may be shopping for another team. According to reports, Shields' agent says the Packers are not putting the money on the table for the fifth-year cornerback. The Packers have until Monday to either use a "franchise" or "transition" tag... at the cost of 10 to 11 million dollars for one year... or let Shields go.

-----

Milwaukee Brewers pitcher Francisco Rodriguez has finally arrived at spring training in Arizona. The 32-year-old reliever's country of Venezuela is facing political unrest, making it hard for him to leave the country. Rodriguez signed with the Brewers in July. Rodriguez told reporters yesterday that his immediate family is with him in Arizona and he hopes to fly other family members soon so he can turn his full attention to baseball.
